SUN MICROSYSTEMS, USER EXPERIENCE, JavaFX DEVELOPMENT PLATFORM |
Contributing to the JavaFX Platform is as exciting as it is rewarding. Creating an application platform that operates seamlessly across “All the Screens of Your Life” is a herculean task that challenges the very fabric of realism… but at Sun, this challenge inspires innovation that turns skeptics into believers. This was my experience.
As a member of the JavaFX User Experience team, I contribute to numerous projects from web to mobile and TV. Working with various domestic and international engineering and marketing teams, projects ranged from designing single-screen applications that demonstrate JavaFX - to producing visionary concepts to help guide the direction of it. Below are examples.

Dipdive LLC, MOBILE INITIATIVE LEADER |
Dipdive.com is the vision of renowned artist will.i.am (of the Black Eyed Peas) and is defined as a “Lifestyle Engine” for music, arts and more. In addition to recording artists, Dipdive is home to a variety of contemporary content and social causes and provides a rich content experience for expressing and sharing creativity with fans and communities.
Dipdive’s primary mobile initiative was to create a powerful tool for Dipdive artist to capture their lifestyle anytime and in any location, and seamlessly post structured mobile content to their Dipdive artist channel. With Dipdive partner RIM, the Blackberry Bold was selected as the premier lifestyle device. Through a comprehensive suite of rich-content applications, the Bold was re-purposed as an artist-branded tool for spontaneously capturing multiple photos images, videos, text captions and MP3 music into automatically configured multimedia “Compositions” with “one-click” posting (Blast) to the artist’s Dipdive.com channel.
